I loved (in the wrong way) how one of the most historically corrupt popes ever, who is probably in his 50-60s, challenges an assassin in his physical prime to an honest fist fight. Because that's smart.

Absolutely! I personally felt the story was a bit rubbish, but I adored the game play, especially how it emphasized the movement over straight-forward combat.
The "Interesting Movement" part is what gets me the most. It's what keeps bringing me back to Titanfall, and one of the reasons I loved Dishonored & Portal. For me, you could take out all the guns and if the game had fun movement, I'd probably still dig it.
Excellent, in depth article. For myself, the idea of changing beliefs definitely hits home, especially around beliefs about money. Being raised in an environment dominated by scarcity mindsets does some funny things to a person, haha!
If I was riding a giant bird that would be my expression. Either that, or one of sheer terror as I'm riding a giant bird. Kind of getting a Peter Pan vibe from this, too.
Great news. I don't play enough to wonder what's going to happen to the meta; I'm just excited to play against real people more frequently.
Don't know what's up with the duck feet (maybe to help it stand?) but this figure is bad ass. Has anyone done a metal Doom figure like the recent Iron Man one you all posted about?
Reviews like this is are one of the reasons I always come back to Kotaku. Thanks for the well-written piece!
Nice helpful write-up! Being specific with goals makes a huge difference.
This is an interesting reframe. I like it! Going to put on for size.
I've never played a Civ game, but they've been catching my eye as of late. Would this be a good starting point, or should I try out 5 or an earlier one first?
I enjoy taking walks for myself. The semi-meditative part I feel is very important - focus on something else, be present, and your mind will do the rest.
Excellent point! Or if it does come up, it would probably be the knee-jerk answer, and will be passed over with a little more thought.
I agree with this, especially since as an introvert alone time is very important for me. And ideas and the like sometimes need time to stew in our subconscious. One thing that always works for me is getting my mind off the subject and going for walks - letting my mind wander or focus on anything helps with my…
Those are good questions! Looking forward to trying out the first one.
Awesome! I recently re-installed Titanfall, and I dig horde modes due to the players vs. the game nature, so I'm looking forward to having a blast with this.
I'm going to ask a few questions. Don't answer them here, but just to yourself. I'm getting the impression that something is holding you back.
Sounds like the game is really trying too hard in a lot of areas. Too bad. I was looking forward to this, especially having loved the Mikami Resident Evil games. I might give it a go after the price drops.
Do you want to become a charming, outgoing person? Not everyone wants that, or wants to be that.
