Indeed. Looks like Snyder's played some Arkham Asylum.

Yeah. Why even see a movie when you can read a three paragraph Wikipedia summary?
Interesting read, but it takes a pretty narrow view as to the "purpose" of a movie. After all, Empire is largely considered the best Star Wars, and it explicitly does not have an ending. If RotJ had never come out for whatever reason, would that have made Empire worse? I would say no.

Yeah, they have to do coin flips for draft order fairly regularly. It's bizarre.
I regret that I have but one up-vote to give for this post.
They do it when they're displaying a stat that only applies to one team, to indicate which team it is referencing.
They should really just remove the illusion of agency and assign the home team as heads and the visitors as tails, or some such.
John, I'm envious of your confidence in being able to declare any particular NFL controversy to be the MOST pointless.
The first or second one?
Oh, I see the confusion here. We're talking about the type of football where grown men CARRY a ball around on the grass, which is clearly much less lame.
I remember those! It took me forever to figure out he hadn't been born yet.
It didn't make sense to me then, and it doesn't now. It's not a theme at all. Hell, it's barely a setting.
If I may submit a biased (but statistically supported) stance: the Bengals are clicking on offense comparably to the Patriots.
Well, B&T finally picks my Bengals to win, so now I have them losing horribly to look forward to. I'm also looking forward to Burfict being activated so he can make an impact in the 15-or-so snaps he lasts before concussing himself out of the season again.
The Ravens probably do have an extra edge, but here's how I look at it: both teams happened to have played against the same team in the same stadium already, with wildly different results. Obviously, this early in the season it's tough to predict anything, but I find this to be as logical and compelling an insight…
Oh yeah, that's right. That arrangement actually sent one of the Bengals' two Fox games to CBS last season (ATL@CIN), though hilariously I was in attendance at the game and consequently was unable to reap the benefits.
We'll learn a lot more about them this week, for sure, but even given the opponent, there were some plays in the Oakland game that point to some optimism being justified (thinking particularly of Eifert's TD's, and Daton's beautiful on-the-run toss to Burkhead. Also, Atkins seemingly returning to his 2012 form.)
Yeah, I'm so glad I follow an AFC team and consequently have to watch, at most, two regular-season games on Fox.
No kidding. Also, if you have the Sunday Ticket package that includes the streaming component, check out their Shortcuts, new this year. They're basically just edits of game action, showing only snap to whistle, resulting in approximately 30 minutes for a full game. But whoever does the editing has no regard for what…
