If only there were some sorts of clues in the context to aid in figuring out what this series of characters could possibly represent.

Worf's last line
About there being no survivors… is that just meant to be about the new arrivals, or are we meant to take it as Worf saying something about himself, also?
Yeah, despite the lofty grade, just about every sentence in the review contains at least one phrase that makes me desperate to avoid seeing this.
john, how can you be totally incompetent to a lesser degree? COME ON!
I couldn't be sure (and didn't feel like rewinding and pausing, etc…), but I thought the script Lipton tried to hand Tobias actually had Lipton's name on the front as the author.
The 3 minute break
The reason none of the employees got to use the bathroom at all during the break was because Buster was in there. Possibly another callback to Lucille's condemnation of his scholarly pursuits earlier in the ep?
Wait, so it's a comedy?
I'm sure Dom-jot's fine, just as long as the management isn't responsible for ball failure.
Rebecca, you may have enjoyed the film more had you not spent the first third deciding which seat to choose in the theater.
Yeah, I have DirecTV for the Sunday Ticket, because I do not live in the primary (or even secondary) market area of the NFL team for which I cheer. Therefore, having it is a necessity if I wish to watch their games without attending a bar over-burdened with the presence of fans of an infuriatingly successful division…
Wait, Breaking Net isn't on Badflix anymore? This is a rageout!
Second the Deadwood review love. Those reviews always make me feel like I'm not smart enough to be watching the show. (I'm in the middle of it on blu-ray at the moment.)
@KB That would certainly make Nero's behavior in the film a lot more believable. Going solely on the movie, he was apparently super pissed at the one guy who actually tried to help, which made absolutely no sense to me.
@Mrs. Peel I believe DS9 comes to Instant in October.
@Mrs Peel It's just that we feel your mother has endured enough.
@HI I would argue that there is a difference between the usual TNG hand-waving science "explanations", which never bother me, and the stuff like this that doesn't even make logical sense. It's not just that it's sloppy science, like windy says; it's just sloppy storytelling logic altogether.
Also, what was that stuff, again? It wasn't a full dead shapeshifter, right? Like, the dog one shed its skin or something? Why the hell is THAT able to replicate things, too?
@Windy Without time for development, you say? It's too bad there wasn't a character on DS9 that had already been somewhat developed on TNG over its previous seas—OH WAIT!
@Billy "No one calls me a bad actress on my own ship! Now replicate me more scenery to chew IMMEDIATELY!"
Also, they hilariously avoided having Picard tell Crusher to send a medical team to check out the Romulan guys and instead had him talk to some Ensign. Guess McFadden was off that week.
