Yes, and it also magically creates the illusion that the aliens' mouths are speaking the English words that you are hearing.

If I am recalling correctly, in Starfleet, you can't be a captain without a ship. He became a captain when they got the Defiant.
Pen Pals
I don't know if I was mixing up memories or just straight up misremembering, but I was sure that their efforts to save the planet were going to result in its destruction.
Remember Me is a pretty good mystery, also.
Sisko didn't start out bald. Then again, he didn't start out a Captain either…
Time Squared
The weirdest thing I noticed about Time Squared was the awkward place for the title sequence. I guess act-break timing guidelines were much more stringent back then.
I think the only implication is that it is the 4th of July weekend.
Maybe they had to send it back to post to perfect the flaming truck.
I submit that this show would be damn near unwatchable without Whitford. With him, however, it is golden.
And how it was immediately followed up by something like "If you don't remember that, you'll be stuck in property crimes with me." Just a hint of sadness to interrupt the hilarity. Loved it.
Also, One Inconvenient Location.
If you didn't want to be mocked, you should've written better books.
Contagion and Royale are the earliest clear memories of Trek that I have, and I believe I saw them the first time they aired. I think I was 10 or so, maybe? Probably younger (I was born in '81; when did these air?). I loved them, but obviously I had no taste whatsoever at the time, and I don't think I've seen these…
Also, should I be using spoiler tags? It seems like most everyone involved in these threads has seen most of Trek. Sorry if I ruined it for anyone.
Star Trek in general (and TNG in particular) appear to me to be pretty bad about consistency with regards to the fleet. They'll often mention things like "the sixth fleet" as if it were some massive entity, but then they can only muster 41 ships to defend EARTH from the BORG? What? And it's a battle they didn't…
Let's not forget Sisko and Sherry Palmer, whom he SENDS TO PRISON. Fantastic episode.
Though it is obviously a capable military ship, the Enterprise D's primary mandate is not combative or even defensive, and its specific assignments only rarely are. I think it makes perfect sense to have it flying around without an escort fleet unless engaged in a planned combat scenario.
Oh man, I am.
Luckily, your tardiness renders you immune to the specially-designed Cylon version of said nonsensical disease.
I thought it looked like Matt Saracen's dad from Friday Night Lights. Apparently, though, it is neither; just some guy.
