are you guys even trying? these sound like real adam sandler movies. i’ve seen two of these.

Or Gilbert Gottfried.

They can review this thing warm...

Considering he is an ageless immortal, I assume he has a large number of very funny juveniles skills.

Americans have a very difficult time detecting and understanding British sarcasm.

Immediately my thought upon seeing this headline. I’m not a fan of his music, but he’s a funny, self-deprecating guy. There’s no way he didn’t know what he was doing when he suggested the biggest rock band of all time (arguably) wished they were more like him. 😂

James Blunt has a very funny sense of humour and is very self-aware of what most people take to be his popstar persona, and this is very obviously a joke. He's saying the Rolling Stones never had a song as big as "You're Beautiful" for fucks sake, how could anyone possibly take this as a sincere comment?

Yeah, he’s awesome at taking himself and others in the music industry down a peg. I think dry humour (and his isn’t even that dry) goes over a lot of people’s heads.

Really? To hell with him then. She’s better than him. She deserves a bloody Archmage, nothing less.

Yep, and he’s been banging Jameela Jamil for like 5 years.

Read AV Club article. Find weirdly smug comment/deliberate misinterpretation of a point. Read subsequent jokes that are probably hilarious to the author of the article. Check writer of piece and find it’s William Hughes. Repeat.

It kind of sounds like he’s kidding and in on the joke?

It’s low-hanging fruit, but these comments deserve to be met with a loud and resounding, “You’re wrong and also stupid.” The big question is, who at Esquire thought we needed a James Blunt interview 15 years after the last moment he was relevant?

On the one hand: ha ha, silly. On the other hand: snarking about James Blunt? That fruit’s hanging so low it’s practically touching the grass.

Counterpoint:

“Also, Kylo Ren, a devotee of his grandfather’s legend, makes no mention of his own feelings about sand, despite Anakin being very vocal on the subject. That’s just sloppy writing.”

I mean, there’s a link in the Recommended Stories right up there all about how really dumb his NEW ideas for a sequel trilogy were going to be, so it still feels like we dodged a bullet.

If Disney hadn’t pushed to extend copyrights to a ridiculous extent, everyone would be able to make a Spider-Man movie. If we still had the copyright law we did in the ‘70s, Spidey would be entering the public domain soon. But every 10 years, Disney-a studio that made their bones re-telling stories from the public

some people more or less built their lives around Star Trek

they could just, y’know, not watch it. it’s just a movie.
