Sound exactly like mine except for the leaks! Mine has the sunroof instead of the targa roof. Amazingly it still works and is watertight.

I'd rather my AW11. I like Origami.

I'm sure that's true, but a Miata isn't claiming to be anything but a Miata. My AW11 looks HUGE next to my classic Mini or Moke and yet it's pretty much the same size as my 74 VW Beetle.

Precisely. It's so far removed from what it's supposed to be. Please Mr BMW, just stick a BMW roundel on it and call it the zero series. I'm sure the silly hipsters will buy an x0 or or a 016i or whatever.

Mr BMW, Please stop making MINI an ironic joke! It's just pathetic.

Correction, that is a UC Holden Torana, the last of the Toranas. It did not come with a V8 from the factory. Only a six or a four, and the four was called a "Holden Sunbird".

Yes, the Torana was smallish and came with a 1.9L four, various straight sixes or a 5.0L V8 depending on what you wanted.

Different markets had different front and rear light treatments on Corollas. Just like the Golf/Rabbit of the same sort of era. Goodness knows why!

Or a Mini-Trac.

I live in a place where the temp regularly tops 110 degrees in summer. Some of may cars have A/C, some don't. If it's there I will use it, but somehow I don't miss it much when it's not. I just open all the windows and go old school.

I think I see a red and a yellow there. It might be just the wires to the head unit. Somebody took the lazy way during a Stereo install.

I like the concept and I like the use of OEM bits. A couple of dangly wires does not phase me. Provided everything electrical works I'd say NP.

Absolutely. I have three classic ones and never intend to own a 2001+ MINI. I know some people like them, but they aren't for me. They just aren't small enough to be as fun as the original.

A Mini with a Rover V8 you say? Yes, it has been done.

I've seen similar weirdness. Somewhere in the US is a Honda CRX running a classic Mini 998cc A series engine, gearbox and ten inch rims. The dude wanted to reverse the trend of putting Honda engines into Minis.

Yep, that about sums up my Moke.

There is one around the corner from me in a mate's shed. Yep, it's rusty. I don't know if he will ever fix it. It's about number four in a line of six or seven projects.

70's and 80's RWD Toyota Coronas and Corollas. I used to see them in the US and Australia all over the place. Usually rusty, but still running well with half a million kays on them. Then seemingly overnight they were all gone. I've seen ONE 70's Corolla in daily use lately, and no Coronas for ages. I did run this

Another one I came across today. A Toyota Corolla II (or Tercel) Windy. I don't know about in the US, but in Aus "Windy" is a polite way of saying "Fart". So it's a Toyota Fart. A pity it's not Turbo, as then it would be sort of appropriate.

Honda Vigour - More like a snooze
