I’ve always loved this shot
I CAME HERE FOR THIS!
I see that, I wasn’t trying to argue, my point was that it didn’t start moving backward until it was against the wall, before that it was in a (very fast) flat spin.
I’ve read conflicting reports on weather it was optional or not, its a bit vague. Anyway, Marshall Pruett wrote a nice piece on what makes them flip...the wickers are there to help slow a spin, but as he described it, they’re only useful when the yaw rate is much lower. Newgardens car spun instantly; appeared to spin…
Just read that... very interesting
I think I read a post on Racer the other day about IndyCar mandating the vertical ‘spine’ like elements on both cars to prevent the spin in the first place; about how when the car begins to yaw, said elements act similarly to the flaps used in NASCAR, and are supposed to prevent the spin in the first place, let alone…
Fuck. I sure hope this thing works.
“KANYE: (Smiles...”
As long as you signal first, that’s acceptable.
They’re V720’s, so not full slicks. its still just insane to me. The Ferrari California, for comparison, has 245/35ZR20 Front, 285/35ZR20, Rear. Batshit crazy Viper has wider tries in the front than the Ferrari has in the rear! So awesome.
295’s in the front. think about that. ho lee fuck.
Love it, Doug. I’ve had the opportunity to spend some time in a 91 300ZX TT (still bone stock, believe it or not!) over the last few years, and every time I drive it, this is absolutely how I feel about it.
Did they buy the truecoat?
