oh, i meant an amplifier to drive the big speakers. I have an pair of basic headphone amps, but honestly I use them to avoid noise from my laptop and less because my Grados benefit from the amp. I do like an amp with my Etymotics. But the Grados, no big deal. (80i, 325i, HF-1)

I've found that to get a listening experience that matches a pair of $X headphones you needs speakers that cost at least $X * 10 plus the amp to drive them.

I'll just leave this here...

(of course that requires having tools, and AAA for the tow after the alternator belt, and I have access to a lift on

I'm proud to say that every car I've owned has been driven past that tree and through that corner at speed. Every one. 3 porsches and 3 vws.

Are you at liberty to name the shipping company? I don't know that this is something that couldn't happen to any shipper, but I'm planning on shipping my pride and joy cross country and stories like this are scaring the sh*t out of me!

Don't forget Jackie Ickx, and Mr I-can-fall-down-an-elevator-shaft-it-does-not-hurt-me Stirling Moss!

Even to the VIR fans out there, the Grand Course is rarely used, and they didn't even say if it was Grand East or Grand West. I've been driving VIR for years and only run Grand once. So this is a really really useless number, if you're going to talk about VIR, just talk about the Full course, and be done with it, at
