@Fodder650: Yeah, the only time USF1 was associated with Dallara was when USF1 was behind schedule and the was a rumor they would buy the HRT car and try and merge USF1 and HRT since, at the time, neither was looking very likely to make the start of the season.
@AustintheBruiser: When I read the initial press about this I was excited about the opportunity for independent aero development, but then I saw the fine print.
@Fodder650: Virgin's car was designed by Wirth Research. Dallara only designed the initial version of the HRT car.
@Fodder650: USF1 was designing their own chassis, they were not involved with Dallara, F1 does not allow customer cars, each car is unique. As the USF1 saga unraveled there was talk about buying the Dallara chassis as HRT was also almost not going to happen.
