We recently acquired a 2005 Yukon XL from my parents. It’s got 140,000 miles and was used to replace our 2005 Explorer with almost 150,000. It is almost never driven with less than 4 humans in it, and any time the family goes somewhere it’s 5. If it weren’t for one rear-facing child seat and one from-facing one, we

I’m saving this to the “Read Me Later” folder, because I’m knee deep in spreadsheets, but I wanted to get a comment in before “WE DONT SEE COLOR WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS MADNESS?!” happens and say thanks for writing this.

This is something probably better expounded upon in a larger blog, but we get a lot of shit either way because we’re either all-in for Tesla, or we’re a bunch of short sellers blahblahblah.

I don’t understand why people pointing out real faults and limitations are continually being categorized as “cheering for the company to fail.

Kinda funny that Ford is mocking them when they started in a similar way. Constant changes to make cars easier to assemble and a focus on vertical integration.  I don’t get all the negativity on Tesla or why anyone would cheer for the most American car company in existence to fail. They are a very young company that

This is a good choice, I do love the S2000, I had one, I still sing the praises of it, but don’t think that it’s civic in terms of maintenance cost. Just so you know the 2 liter version (ap1) has some quirks that could cost a lot of money if your not careful.

When I hit this in my MKIV GTI, I was mainly amazed it lasted this long.

Look at the ‘Recommended Stories’ area:

um, no, there is no both siderist bs to this issue. One of our parties is anti-science and doesnt care about global warming and all the pain that is already happening due to it and all the greater pain that will happen and is baked into the atmosphere already.

About ‘95 I was the IT guy at a trucking company. About 500 trucks. We had a trip planning package for the truckers called PC Miler. We could print text routes for the drivers, even fax them to the nearest truck stop, from a PC in the dispatch office. Updates came in every 2 months - 40 some floppies! If 1 messed up,

Yea, depends how much he lost. My right arm ends just below the elbow, so I designed this

My friend and fellow Formula Ford driver Dave came together with another driver - my father. They touched wheels and my Dad’s car was launched up over Dave’s cockpit. The front-left wheel of the airborne car contacted Dave’s helmet. As he tells the story, he recalls having time to think “Hey, that HANS probably just

“Hey honey, gotta work on the car today. This should only take me an hour or so, and I’ve got everything I need already.”

Super hot take.

I wish I could star your comment with a frowny face, but you and me both, brother, you and me both...

Ford just lost one of their own employees as a customer. That takes real effort.

Please tell me this toy Yoda resides in a Toyota.

I was thinking how weird these all are but then I realized I have a Yoda that I got from a Taco Bell Kids meal when the Star Wars SE was released. He has never left any of my cars for 21 years now.

Electric cars don’t need a grill. Take the Tesla, they do both liquid cooling and air cooling. Just the air cooling goes through that bottom area, you don’t need an entire grill for cooling the battery since the battery is on the bottom. So the air intake only needs to be at the bottom portion of the car.
