You’re confusing demonologists and necromancers.

Haha sure, but at level 17 you’re pretty close to godhood with any class.

the difference between an AI generator, which runs on a neural network trained on a black box database of entirely stolen artwork, that is unregulated, that uses both massive amounts of water and energy to run, that has serious ethical concerns regarding the labor used to develop that network, and an Adobe product is

I care. It should be disclosed. Like if AI is used we should know. AI comes with its own set of economic, ecological and legal hangups and people shoul dbe able to make informed decisions and opt into supporting that or not.

i mean the article is reporting the facts. If there’s drama here, it’s the fact that people, generally speaking, do not like AI messing with art

It’s soulless. Little imperfections are what makes art a human experience.

Oh, I am definitely banging that druid bear.

Should have had Kirk talk through all his songs.

As a middle aged man let me go ahead and let you in on a secret - all media and content isn’t targeted specifically at you, and things you aren’t aware of are popular with millions of people all over the world.  This trend will continue.

And I say this with all of the respect you deserve (that is to say, very little).

Adapt, sure. But artists are also struggling to have their IP rights protected, and a lot of AI training is based on outright theft, so that needs to stop.

Kind of shocking considering wrestlers are generally anti-union as a bunch. While there are the Jesse Ventura’s, there’s always the Hulks and enough top end guys to stop any sort of unionization in that field.

Glad I’m not the only one who caught that. USF4 is a much quicker game, and I say this as someone who played Vanilla to Ultra as and when they dropped. It’s the one numbered game I spent a good chunk of my gaming life playing.

This really is the dumbest timeline.

I like how you guys gave up with SF4 and didn’t include all 4-5 versions of it. Vanilla 4 and Ultra 4 are vastly different games. Same with SF5.

Are there any stipulations about availability or standards of the replaceable batteries? Just because you’ll be able to change your iPhone/Apple Watch/Switch battery by yourself with basic tools doesn’t mean that they’ll have to price the batteries conveniently or sell them to end-users at all.

That’s what they do now except you also have to replace your device when you do.

ah yes because my 3DS totally didn’t have a battery that I replaced myself with a double capacity one using a standard screw driver and requiring nothing else to be removed. that definitely didn’t happen and it totally isn’t sitting in the next room.

How it should be.

<sigh> of course it won’t be single use batteries, it’s actually like the PSP or earlier smartphones, that had proprietary but removable batteries. Now they’re glued in so that they CAN’T be replaced, or make it more difficult than using a screwdriver. It’s only about planned obsolescense, and the lew is trying to
