Yeah, it seems to me that there’s a lot to be angry with A about, here. Why on Earth, if she knew George was like this with her boyfriends, didn’t she warn D&A about him beforehand? She’s mentioned that she was in an abusive relationship before and meeting her friends is a big deal and that George is “protective” of

I’m not disagreeing with you on the “continuity does not matter”, I’m just pointing out that even if it did, there’d be no issues with Cap, Widow, Falcon, Fury and Hill being the “only” ones in TWS.

What other Avenger? Thor’s in space, Banner’s intentionally staying out of conflicts, they specifically say Hawkeye’s away on a mission in Afghanistan I think, Widow DID get involved, and War Machine’s a soldier who’s probably in Afghanistan or something too. No other Avengers existed at that point in time.

You, sir or ma’am, have just sold me a movie

It’s not necessarily a continuity “glitch” though. It’s not like they put Fury’s eyepatch on the wrong eye, there’s just an odd absence. Any explanation could work to explain why Tony didn’t come to help Cap

1. They don’t have beef; they kissed and made up.

In Iron Man 3, where SHOULD they have been? Tony went missing. They don’t know he’s in Minnesota. And after the president is kidnapped, who’s to say that Cap DIDNT look for him? But Tony found him first.

Guys, I know there’s a lot of sites that force you to tick a box that says “yes I am 13 or over”, but a lot of kids LIE.

I assume Marvel will be watching audience reaction to Solo to judge how willing a movie audience is to accept TV show plots being continued in movies.

Ive been reading articles about this movie and I will warn you that they MIGHT be making a change to Bill Foster that MIGHT upset you. I’m not saying it’s definite, but we might have a Mandarin-type situation with this.

It’s weird, but I think the world would be better off if the people who feel this strongly about Star Wars would just go away and become fans of something else that they actually like.

That IS interesting. And depression has a strong link to overeating, doesn’t it?

Ok but if for example you were playing a game of Minecraft, it’d be reasonable for one person to say “I’m gonna build my base over here” since other players can build literally anywhere else. Nobody is denied space.

Whedon? So far every GotG movie has featured at least one of the Guardians perma-dying. Original Groot died in GotG1; Baby/Teen Groot is his clone/son, not him. James Gunn likes to kill main characters too, it seems.

He’s the Luke Skywalker of his own saga now: at first universally loved but damned by a couple of bad decisions, the question being whether it’s really too late to redeem himself.

I think the reason the TV universe is so loose on crossover stuff is because Marvel is aware that the Feige-Perlmutter war is ongoing and they want to wait and see how it resolves before tying things together too tightly. Most of the shows get contractually bound up with TV channels getting editorial control which is

You’ve SEEN South Park though, right? They don’t even move their legs

Groot wasn’t reborn. GotGv2/IW Groot is GotG Groot’s son.

I think Marvel/Disney are betting that the people who pay attention to date announcements and know that GotGv3 and Spider-Man HC 2 are also the people who have a general idea of how the Infinity Gauntlet storyline plays out in the comics. In other words, there’s no point in worrying whether release date announcements

The point is that even if NARRATIVELY it’s obvious that Thanos must survive to part 2, in-universe from Thanos’s perspective he could have wanted to be included in the lottery because he’d feel it would be only fair. IF he DID indeed include himself, then obviously he “won” the lottery anyway and survived.
