Don’t worry about what Jangles thinks; she or he isn’t judging you, but him or herself.

Well then it sounds like everyone here agrees that the solution is to elect people who will un-sabotage the ACA. Common ground is a rare thing to find so, you know, this is a good conversation. Are there any specific improvements you’d like?

Yes, it’s wrong

BREAKING NEWS: Government officials propose the most ambitious green energy project ever
Mooted contractor has already begun allocating resources to the project

Tripled from what to what? You need to give absolute numbers. An increase from $1 to $3 per annum (for a hypothetical example) would be tripling the cost but it would still be incredibly affordable. Absolute numbers tell us what the actual situation is. “Tripled” tells us almost nothing in real-world terms.

Yeah, you have to remember that it’s way more than just skin colour. Black man don’t tend to have hair as straight as Worf’s, and they’d generally have trouble growing Fu Mancu moustaches

Maybe shaving your head was fashionable on Qo’noS that decade

My headcanon is “shaving your head was fashionable on Qo’noS at the time”. But yeah, the TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT look was fine for Klingons, in fact it was iconic and distinctive. It didn’t need an update and even the cheapness of the costume armor made their uniforms look rough-n-ready.

Daredevil Season 1 seemed good the whole way through for me, and IIRC in Season 2 Fisk only showed up in Episode 9. IMO the Fisk episode was the best episode of Season 2. It’s not that 13 seasons is too long, it’s that:

The club isn’t really a FRONT for anything, it’s one of her business holdings and is legitimately profitable in its own right IIRC. Cops raiding it would find nothing. Cops staking it out would only know who her lieutenants are, and they’d figure that out no matter where she holds her meetings. No money for any

Country was also one of the genres Ray Charles dabbled in (e.g. I’m Movin’ On).

The problem with the Punisher is not that he’s willing to kill/execute bad guys. There are LOADS of action movies where the main character is as violent as the Punisher. John Wick, Death Wish, Kill Bill, Dirty Harry, etc. That’s fine, it’s just fiction. No, the problem is that he’s presented alongside heroes like

Is it just me or did this movie go through a lot of changes as a result of focus groups?

I dunno man, have you seen the number of times the Enterprise and Voyager got pulled into alternate dimensions and/or broke time itself because they fucked up their latest warp bubble calculations?

They really just need to make a movie of The Force Unleashed. It’s a really important piece in the depiction of Vader and Palpatine’s relationship. It shows Vader scheming against the Emperor and the Emperor scheming against Vader and both of them getting caught by the other red-handed and acting like they totally

I dunno why you’re so gung-ho about wrestling not being a real sport when you like soccer. They both involve people pretending they’re injured

Really though, the MCU has really just reached critical mass since Civil War. At this point any new character that Marvel doesn’t want to fully explain can just be introduced briefly as “here is a person, here’s a short sequence highlighting their personality quirks, and here are their powers”. Audiences just roll

The most likely way to pull off a decent character portrait of Ms Marvel would be to introduce her in somebody else’s movie (for example Captain Marvel 2) in a limited way, like Spidey was in Civil War. Then when she gets her own movie the introductions are already done and there’s plenty of time for character

If this is a 29-minute musical number followed by that one line, it will be fantastic

The effects required to do her powers justice would look terrible on a TV budget though. Plus Marvel TV has been very hit-and-miss.
