Prevailing theory is that Vision himself has kept a copy of Ultron stashed somewhere.

If we’re using “show me a body” as the criteria, Ivan Vanko is alive too. Stark and Rhodey flew away well before the explosion, we didn’t see Vanko die.

Made me immediately think of xkcd:

Holy shit they really should have directed. Lucas himself has said he doesn’t enjoy directing - he much prefers the writing, producing and editing, saying that editing is where the movie really gets made - and all of the movies had some fantastic ideas, he just needed another voice in the room pushing back against the

Pretty much everyone you just listed ONLY shows up for Wrestlemania. And Taker won’t even be doing THAT anymore.

Yep, we in Ireland are very proud of him, and have enjoyed his work since Father Ted.

All I know is there’s a Disney one with mostly Marvel actors and a WB one with mostly LotR actors.

Speaking of Blade’s hair, wtf is up with that.

If there were to be a second wave, I’d make it:

No, Four Swords and Minish Cap were GBA, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks were DS, and A Link Between Worlds and Tri-Force Heroes were 3DS

Sentry, Hulk, Ghost Rider...

With an almost-unique blend of incompetence, despicability and narcissism, it’s like we can almost imagine what it would be like to be ruled by an elderly King Joffrey

Difference is, Wii U was a completely different console to the Wii, but the name made many consumers think it was just a high-spec version of the Wii and so they didn’t need to buy it if they already had a Wii.

I don’t like Moffat’s run too much but I agree with his reasoning here: casting a woman as The Doctor shouldn’t be approached as a stunt casting. As he says, it should be when the woman in question makes sense for the role.

Yeah that was what jumped out at me too. Wakanda is usually like this fantastical thought experiment of “what if there was a sub-Saharan African nation that had escaped the slave trade, escaped European colonialism and cultural influence, and was as rich and technologically advanced as any nation on Earth?” (Basically

I’d completely forgotten about these abominations

In Ireland and the U.K. they seem to have more of a tendency towards “normal” (read: not perfect 10) looking people in their shows and movies (e.g. Mark Addy, Brendan Gleeson), but yeah

I’m excusing nothing! Hiring female directors for big budget movies should be so common that we wouldn’t think to have a conversation about it! However Marvel obviously made a good choice hiring Gunn for GotG - I’m just saying why a director whose films have had little financial success isn’t necessarily a bad choice.

Often, whether a movie succeeds or fails has nothing to do with the director and everything to do with the marketing budget. If Gunn’s previous movies were good, then whether they were financially successful was more likely a function of whether the studio bothered advertising them to audiences.

I feel like the idea that “POC being geeky is surprising” is kind of a parochial attitude. To me, it seems obvious. I’m a fan of Street Fighter, a community where white people are the minority and that’s not just the obvious Asian players - players like Ryan Hart, Snake Eyez, and Dieminion are easy for me to think of
