Unmodified production sedan? GM has been known to slip in 'ringers' before. Within my memory it occured in '64 with Car and Driver's Pontiac GTO vs Ferrari GTO.
@Rosanne Rosannadanna for MarywithanM: OMG! "Sitting on a park bench, eyeing little girls with bad intent". How could I not have been a Tull fan for almost 40 years? Well, I have!
@Captain America: I loved my somewhat modded '96 SS. I was stupid to have traded it on a Jaguar S-type. Love to have it back, but it's probably junk by now!
Well, I'm on my third Corvette: a '69 427 coupe, '67 s.b.coupe, and now a '94 conv. with only 37,xxx miles. I had always heard that owning one would be like adding 3 inches to a certain part of my anatomy. Little did I know that part would be my waistline!
@mechimike: You've got an 1800ES? You lucky dawg. Hard to find these days, at least at an affordable price!
Is it true that the Falcon and Pinto wood-grained wagons were labeled "Country Squirt"?
@Nick Allain: Have to be the Sebring!!
Camaro? Camaros had a four cylinder base engine? I don't believe I ever saw one. Surely you jest!
@Elhigh:
@wrx-tyrannosaurusWrx:Groucho, or Karl?
@Ambiguously Unfunny Serial Killer: I looked at his inventory and found nearly all his cars overpriced; some by a wide margin. Maybe those were California prices?
@jduffy13: Ok, I give. What lifestyle would that be?
@coupeZ600: Pretty much the same in Southern Indiana, and probably everywhere else back in the day. Mmmmmmmmm: homemade ice cream!!
My second car was a '60 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door hardtop, 318 and pushbutton shift. I was 16 and thought it was cool!
Soon to be followed by Megan Fox as the 'Tail light'.
Like I said, 1967 Z28 Camaro. Cheap built but what an engine. Made to wind up and win Trans Am races.
