Just another example of a very long list showing these games and their communities are toxic, and reflect badly on gamers as a whole.

Watching your favorite football team win and then saying “WE WON” makes as much sense as watching porn and saying “We had sex”. So how is esports different from sports??
You have fallen behind the times, my friend. eSports is one of the fastest growing industries in recent years.
There has to be one like you on every esports related article... on a gaming news site...
Sounds like you could have stood to look up a little bit more.
These tournaments also stream online, and for a vast majority, that’s how they consume esports, same as many sports fans watch the NFL on TV more often than they see it in-person.
I can’t believe people pay money to watch others chase a ball for hours.
2016 is the year we realized that Biff still has the Sports Almanac.
How is that dishonest title not some heavy “editorializing”? Give me a break. You already have comments about “boycotting Bethesda”. I get that the author tweeted about shutting down, but the source is right there and you can see that Bethesda is not asking him to shut down. What is that called if not editorializing?…
Cheaters just want to be the very best, like every other cheater is.
Because 1. It’s pro tier and no one wants immaturity at that level, and 2. .... I forgot what 2 was
because there comes a time in a man’s life when he needs to grow up....?
What school yard bullshittery Thorin and the rest of the pro league are spouting. I guess that’s what you get when 75% of your viewer base is in their mid-teens— Immaturity from top to bottom.
Yeah, we’d hate for the tech to, like, evolve or improve or anything.
But poor people with gaming computers need games too! This is Overwatch for poor people. I am never going to be a box quote.
For those with little tech knowledge this would be as good as bricked.
I think there’s a distinction to be made between not charging to play the game, and the f2p design model of restricting resources, using multiple currency/energy types, and otherwise creating a game that encourages players to spend real money to buy more turns/game assets.
If a lot of the features are locked then it really isn’t free to play, just an extended trial because that what it is.
I have to respectivly disagree, there’s content behind a pay wall so it’s using the term f2p very losely. Granted I have no idea yet in how far the f2p model goes. Also serious question I would be a returning player and I could fly an orca, would I be able to play f2p or would my ship be in lockdown behind a sub wall?…
Indefinite trial is not the same as f2p, they are only removing the trial period. You still need to be subbed to enjoy EvE for what it is.
