I think it is highly unlikely that this white professor is a racist. Anyone that knows anything about Evergreen knows that racists wouldn’t even dream of applying there. Actually he was centered in the matter since the policy suggestion was that he (e.g. white faculty) not be on campus during the specified day. If you’re going to tell people not to come to campus, I think its reasonable to expect some will take exception to that even, gosh, speak up about it.
