People use achievement icons to decorate their Steam profiles, if you notice the icons from these achievement spam games usually are letters, characters or numbers. Just in different color/background/font type etc.

People use them to spell their name or forming words like ‘hello’, ‘welcome’, ‘hi’ etc on their

I’m a patient gamer who rarely buy games on launch day, usually I got them 1-2 months later. Arkham Knight is an exception, I bought it for PC on launch day, since the previous three entries were my favorite games. (Yes, even Origins. No matter what people said, that game got Batman’s detective aspect right.)

And

To be fair, that Doomguy just destroyed Argent energy source that lit up the whole Mars, candles were the only acceptable lighting alternatives.

Musou games are great stress reliever (I’m rotating between SW4-II or Arslan these days). Nothing makes you feel better than knocked out 5000 enemies in unbreakable 1000 combo.

I played them with music off (only SFX) and turn on my chill out Spotify playlist.

NECA or Figma or Playarts Kai or Kotobukiya or SHFiguarts or whichever action figures company should totally hop onto Overwatch bandwagon ASAP.

As a sidenote, McFarlane toys should do monsters from 2016 DOOM, it fits their horror theme, and those monsters are just very, very well-designed.

Same problem here. Bought The Witcher 3 back when the GOTY version came out aaaand...6 months later, only 12 hours in. I really, really want to finish the game, but my gaming time isn’t exactly plenty (plus distractions from other, shorter games). I guess I’m going to finish it the way I finish DA:I, on and off in

I think devs aware of this shift in consumer behavior as well (people start to wait a while before buying), because

HAHAHAHA. I bought New Vegas for $3 and got 187 hours of enjoyment from it. No, thanks NVidia.

Games that ran well in my crappy ‘only-for-browsing-and-spreadsheet’ i3-530 PC:

- The entire Klei Entertainment catalogue (Shank, Don’t Starve, Invisible Inc and my fav, Mark of The Ninja).

- Bastion and Transistor.

- Shadowrun Returns, Dragonfall and Hong Kong.

- Life Is Strange

- Divinity Original Sin

- (to my surprise)

Yeah. Total War Warhammer and XCOM 2 on Platinum tier surprised me. I thought these were more of niche games. So glad many people play it.

Eh, it’s more of a popularity contest than anything, really. I guess Steam users most likely voted for games they own in their libraries. And since the likes of GTA V and CS:GO have been in Steam top sellers for YEARS, it’s no wonder they won. Millions of people have them.

(Though The Witcher 3 didn’t get ‘Game within
