I think the article is trying to paint all Canadians as Angry or Oil supporting lol ... lets be honest here its only like 2 provinces here who are the only ones pushing their oil because they put all their eggs into one basket. the rest of us are happy to see and support environmental movement to move away from Oil. NA is only 4.3% of the world population, data out there states otherwise that its true we are consuming 1.2 earths of resources at current rate which is not sustainable for existing population yet alone the future. add in climate change and possibilities it get worse.

I did not link any data, a simple search of resources vs population will net you the information you seek. If I picked one or two research articles out of the plethora returned I would have to argue the information , sources etc.  its far easier for someone to take the time search that and review and decided vs me Read more

I have always questioned sports hunting.  Its one thing to hunt for food but to shoot an animal for sport seems more like an underline mental illness.  Who in any right mind would get excited to kill another being that thinks, breaths, dreams, and feels?   Something is not right with those folks they lust for it.

This is not new, this has been an ongoing issue for a long time.  Population growth is too high vs sustainability.   Only way to balance it would be a massive decrease in population.  There is simply not enough resources on the planet to sustain current populations as is.

Could they not put up detection systems around bases to detect.   With the number of sensors I have played with it should be possible to detect all forms of radiation and sound waves including ultrasonic

I would not go with either. I would rather spend the money on a windows10 tablet any day. I already have an android device which has its place but if I want to work need a x86 and access to all my work applications not pad applications. well office is nice in all platforms most companies still use windows for core Read more

So exactly what will happen to all the law agencies using the tech lol.  Who is going to enforce?   all fine and dandy to state that something will be done vs actually enforcing it and preventing it.   many questions need to be looked at before I will believe that anything will change.

its for sure a Drone, the blinker is a giveaway which is standard for more drones these days. I flew a lot of drones and did commercial training for many in Rural Canada. Shape is not as common but there are many drones that are tri motored and tri wing with 6 motors. its not an off the shelf unit as most the Read more

I agree there but even thinking of planning such an event at this time is a waste unless its online.  still hours spent being paid planning something that will surely not happen by year end.   With new variants and the rest of the world still playing catchup people forget that just because you get the vaccine does not Read more

I think this happens a lot more than people know.   I can tell you that in my 40 years of IT I have found many cases like this where high level staff with admin/root level leave but passwords were never changed.    Not sure why they do not do it as its a huge security risk.  Perhaps its because some corporations have Read more

This is great news as the plans for Starlink is to achieve 1GB to 10GB in the future. If paying a flat rate and over time we get free speed upgrades that is awesome and will be cheaper than anything comparable in any other spectrum/service.

I think it just silly that events are still being planned during a pandemic which is still out of control. regardless if everyone gets a shot by end of year or not with the variant(s) and the vaccines already coming up as not as affective against new deadlier strains these are all just super spreader stupid ideas. Ugh, why do they waste time on changing things that already work... id rather see better innovation than icons.  how much do they spend having people remake icons and interface changes.  the old ones work fine as is.

I had my own theory... I drive to work every day in rural area and every day I see minimal 1 dead bee and up in my vehicle grill or bounce off my window. Some times it can be many. So thinking about this I have about 6 months of summer so lets pretend there are 5 each way that’s 10 bees a day going to work and back. Read more
