Average CS starting salary is around $65k. Do some potentially start at $100k? Perhaps, but that’s entirely unrealistic for your average college grad.
I think 0-60 is an irrelevant metric for daily driving. If you truly need a good 0-60 time on a regular basis, your situation is very rare or you are doing something wrong.
By “ample street parking”, do you mean a spot 1.5 miles around the block?
Yeah but if you drove everywhere, you’d have to find parking there too. I don’t know about you, but my job is in Manhattan. I don’t think you’d call street parking “ample” anywhere below 110 St.
A metric fuckton, even since 2005 or so. Parts, like Manhattan and other expensive places, have become dramatically safer. East New York is still a shithole though, and I’d stay out unless you have armed guards. But places like Harlem, Park Slope and Williamsburg have gentrified and are much safer than they were even…
“drive everywhere and live with the high cost of parking.”
You have 2 ears and surround sound headsets are a useless gimmick.

My gross one goes to clean my bicycle chains first, but yeah, other than that modification, yours is pretty much identical to my protocol.
Look, it’s either drive or die in a subway car fire. Your choice.
The charging standards remind me of this comic:
Here I thought Hamilton grew up a bit. Turns out he’s still the same sore loser.
If you do any kind of commuting, the DCT is just plain awesome.
I don’t think they were cheaper. I think it was more that the various aluminium alloys that have better strength:mass ratios weren’t invented yet and so they were forced to use magnesium. As to why a lawn mower would have a magnesium deck, both alloys don’t visibly corrode under normal conditions so perhaps that gives…
For me, Campagnolo are people who make high-end bicycle components.
There’s a lifted Wrangler that lives nearby. In summers, the normally snow-white Wrangler is usually found with ridiculous amounts of dirt and mud on it. It also has been fitted with a snorkel. I think the owner of that one has a lot of fun with theirs.
I will next time. Thank you!
Can confirm. MX Master 2S is so excellent, I own 2. One lives in the office, another lives at home. I’m tempted for a third that will live in my bag.

Stamford, CT isn’t cool at all. I don’t say this to prevent people from moving here; I’d be a gentrifying jerkface anyway. It’s just that Stamford is a suburb sandwiched by three wealthy towns and no one who is really cool would want to live here anyway.
Heck, some airports, like LaGuardia in NYC, parking rates are so exorbitant that taking a taxi to the airport is probably your best bet anyway. It’s like $30/day for private lots and $39/day for on-airport parking.
