What incentive is there not to just buy an M2 Competition...?

I’m missing the economics here. How did NAFTA make American-made furniture more expensive?

Many thanks. I missed the announcement.

Wait, what happened to $kaycog? What did I miss?

I don’t believe that this was some massive cover up so they could pile up more money, there just isn’t any money in this for Goodyear. What I think is far more likely is that no one was looking at this at all. No one was looking at all of the data, all of the failures, and all of the costs.

To be fair if you’re drowning they have ~ 5 mins to get to you, which means they pretty much already have to be there, whilst if you have a cold, you may infect other people with Teh Plagues and end up killing everyone in the world (or perhaps I’ve played too much Plague, Inc.).

Me too. And my Jewish fiancée will also likely at least see the humour in how tasteless that comment is.

I think CT will also do emissions retesta second time for free. It’s basically pass, or spend $500 or something and you pass, to disincentivise repair places from charging you for unnecessary repairs.

They won’t fail you for a blown marker if both are blown symmetrically and you have 2 sets. Ask me how I know. :)

No, it’s like getting a crappy stereo and putting on $5k speakers. When doing audio, it’s speakers first, then everything else.

My favourite sign on the PA Turnpike (I-76): Speeds Enforced from Aircraft. I wonder if they send missiles into particularly egregious offenders?

Lol, as if there is budget for an airplane to just cruise above each highway all day long?

Shit they used an analog pressure gauge? Hard pass.

You don’t drive this to your audit or your colonoscopy.

Amazon deliveries are 98% unmarked, but are easily identified by the blasting music they are playing, and the damaged box left behind.

While driving is a privilege, there is absolutely no reason to revoke that privilege other than a demonstrated inability to exercise that privilege safely.

I have mixed feeling about this... on one had I firmly believe “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time” while on the other I’m against making life harder for the poor. One thing I am afraid of is the incentive to abide by the traffic laws could be greatly diminished to some.

Meanwhile CT State Police have a lit sign on top that says “State Police”. I saw one far away in my rearview and I thought “why’s a NYC cabbie doing this far out?”, then realised when it was closer for what it actually was.

I have no idea. It was in passing :)

Not sure if the rozzers optimise for comfort of their arrestees.
