We have something similar. Its strategically placed right at the entrance of the locker rooms. So that you can get a couple off before heading home if you choose.

While I have showered at the gym. It hasn’t been often (In fact I can count the number of times on one hand.), and only when the situation calls for it, as an event or some meet up usually nixes the idea of traveling home, just to get back on the same damn road and travel where I need to go.
