Too much money involved. Pain management is a billion dollar industry. Pharmaceutical companies really don’t want you to be able to grow your own pain reliever, and they are an enormous influence on this country and what happens here.

Side note, the continual push back on medical marijuana is baffling, when more dangerous, addiction forming drugs are routinely prescribed. Fresno county (the meth backbone of California) has routinely pushed to ban medical marijuana dispensaries (despite being legal in the state) and has even tightened restrictions…

Yeah, pretty sure he was talking about how people would react to seeing someone hop ship to ESPN — not anything about people who currently work there. If anything I see it is as a clue that some people he is close to at ESPN might want to leave themselves.

Royals fan here. He deserved everything he got from Machado. This is his fourth or fifth incident since the start of last season. He’s shown no growth in maturity or composure.

None of his teammates coming near him on the bench afterward says enough about how they feel about his continuing antics.
