Yeah, I’m sure you’re right. I still wouldn’t want one at that price.

People don’t know this? Or are there actually cars out there that don’t have a hook/notch/whatever? It’s never occured to me to not hang the thing.
I only recently sat in one for the first time - the “Cheap Lux Auto” moniker really doesn’t do it justice. At least a Civic doesn’t put on pretentious airs... And doesn’t start north of $30k. Still flabbergasted that people buy these things.
Oh, I agree with you. I’m about as far from being a union apologist as is possible.
Actually, the Forester does have a change cubby - but not the USDM version. To the left of the steering wheel, there’s a little pull out to get to the fuses. In the JDM cars, that pull out has an insert to put change in (see here).
My Subaru’s infotainment thing reminds me that my birthday is coming up every time the car is turned on for a week or so before the date, and then wishes me a happy birthday on the day of.
The premise behind it was dumb, but it was beautiful to watch.

How do you screw up something like this? I mean, it’s not *that* hard to not sell cars you’re not supposed to, right?
Neutral: No.
The post’s title has been updated - it said Illinois when I read it. It might be in the midwest, but that state government is beyond saving.
The post’s original title was Illinois.
We’re talking about the most dysfunctional state in the Union, here.
Beat me to it.
Bingo. Agent is in the wrong, but the mother sure as hell is too.
Isn’t the point of having a damn union to make sure stuff like this doesn’t happen? If you’ve got to sue GM, then I have a feeling that they’re not the only problem here.
It only sound great in theory if you attended the Peter Navarro School of Economics for Kids Who Failed High School Economics.
Does someone want to tell me what the hell it is they teach at Wharton?
