@ Carla Lang - if the family wasn’t from the UK, it may have been a cultural thing. What’s called “honeycomb” in the UK is known as “sponge toffee” in North America, where “honeycomb” at best is the almost tasteless wax in beehives (and at worst a HORRIFIC breakfast cereal.)
