Yea Marvel has been going against the norm with this. Winter Soldier was an April release, GotG Aug and Black Panther will be Feb.

They moved because they didnt want to go up against Civil War. March is traditionally a good month for films that studios think are good but may get lost in the shuffle during the prime blockbuster movie months. Release date has nothing to do with it. August is usually where they dump films.
