The Jedi Knight II series, the sequel/spinoff of Dark Forces 2, perfected what Dark Forces 2 introduced. The Force powers are more natural (if you have Force Jump, you just jump instead of having to hit a separate Force power key), and the lightsaber duels require more precision.

Honestly, I thought they were a big step up from previous seasons.

I was inordinantely bothered that Elsa froze the lock to Gold's shop. How exactly would freezing the lock make it open? It's not like she even bashed it in to break it, as one might do when freezing a metal lock. She just froze it, then opened the door. What's that about?

So is he *the* Henry Morgan, the privateer and pirate, bane of the Spanish Main?

We were in town visiting my parents and my mom had a Redbox coupon code. I had just read AV Club's review of The Master and thought it sounded like a great Friday night.

My old karate sensei was an extra in "Hannibal."

Leonardo DiCaprio almost sat at the table next to my mom's at a restaurant.

The wife and I are adopting. Baby's due June 13th. Happened a hell of a lot faster than we expected: we only put in our application in February. In one scene, Carson calls Jimmy a "Wat Tyler," which even as a history teacher I thought a rather obscure reference. Is this as common in the UK as an American calling someone a Benedict Arnold, or was that just Carson being obscure?

Sucks to be the Schroeders of Geneva.

Tarzan is two syllables. And they're apes, damnit!

It *wants* to be a thing. Hell, I want it to be a thing, and I keep watching in hopes it will fulfill thingity. But so far, no, it is not a thing. Its thingness is absent. It is no-thing.

My favorite little detail was that Dr. Fulton had the same picture of Shelley in multiple frames, like he didn't have that many different photos of her. Made me think he didn't date Shelley for very long, adding a layer of desperation to Dave Foley's performance.

I recall reading in an interview with Aron Eisenberg that the script had Nog doing a goofy dance, so Eisenberg improvised his Ferengi dance on the spot and Terry Ferrell decided to join in.
