@r33brooks: The first time I saw this they described that he had purchased a few of those chemical handwarmers and used then and taped them to the batteries of the cameras and GPS to prevent freezing. He may have done something similar.

@minibeardeath: unfortunately, it sounds like the image itself is being cut off on both right and left of the screen. Giving you the characters in 16:9, but the image, alas, is not.

@PhishsBrevity: As crazy as it drives us, you are probably not gonna see that change for a little while. RF connections are durable and can go a long distance without distorting the picture (at least in SD)
