Trump failed to stem the crisis with a measured response when there was time to respond appropriately. A month went by, this thing went truly viral through the US and now local and federal responses are overwhelmingly catastrophic to the economy.

Furthermore, the recession that will likely result from all of this will

Correct, but when you spend 8 years chastising a president over his bailouts and economic strategies and then get into office and absolutely fall flat on your face and end up handing out bailouts to farmers, to the US oil companies and now will probably be forced to do tons more...you look like an a$$.

Not to mention

They also can ask (and will probably receive) bailout money from Drump.  You know, because he’s not Obama and somehow the terrible disgusting use of federal money to bailout companies is okay under him.

Well yes and no.  As mentioned before me the car will want to spin more easily.  Arrows stay straight and have their weight in the front, cars with more weight in the rear will point accordingly when grip is lost.  That being said, the 911 even in RWD does pretty good in the snow because so much weight is on the rears

A Gallardo is AWD.  I think there’s a bit too much snow-tire worship in the world right now.  Yes, in flat areas they are great but introduce some hills and you’re gonna need AWD.  If snow tires were as great as all the comments sections suggest, then someone should tell the Army they could save billions building 2wd

Well, in the past the US was a net importer of oil, so low oil prices helped stimulate our overall consumer economy. Now, the US is a major net exporter of Oil and a huger % of our GDP is gas and oil production/exports. So a price crash will actually leave a huge portion of our economy out to dry as the bulk of North

Looks awesome. This should be a success! Unlike the FJ Cruiser which failed because it wasn’t actually anything like the original FJ other than it’s white roof, this Bronco is actually like the old Bronco and therefore people will actually buy it.

AKA, people want a Jeep that isn’t a Jeep but as cool as a Jeep.

Well, tell that to the Carrera/Carrera S which has gained only a few HP dating back to 2005 but has roughly doubled in price.  Not sure why Porsche doesn’t improve performance on their volume models enough to justify the price increase given how much additional power the next rung up on the 911 chain they have now.

It’s this type of stuff that Porsche does that reaaaallly makes the base 911 look like the most overpriced object on planet earth IMO.  At the Carrera and Carrera s’s price points they should at least offer as much power as a Mustang GT, lord knows there’s plenty of head room for extra power between the Carrera S and

Economies of scale also teaches us that making more of one thing makes it cheaper. Right now, Subaru is manufacturing way too many engines for no benefit to their lineup since many make similar power and fuel economy figures to one another.

Just kill them off and make two engines - the SOHC 2.5L and DOHC 2.4L in 3.5

Yeah, my only thing is when the cars have so little power that their fuel economy sucks. Subaru’s strategy is really dumb in that regard. The more powerful engine in this case gets better fuel economy over the base engine WHICH supposedly was designed with lower power in order to achieve higher fuel economy.

You could always move to RDU where traffic during AM and Afternoon rush hour is so bad that merging on to I-40 can be done with a moped.

I drive a 2008 outback...it works.

Never understood Ariana’s approach to singing. When doing impressions of other singers, she’s like the best vocalist in the world. When she sings her own songs, she barely enunciates and sounds like an amateur singer on youtube doing covers and trying to sound cool by slurring words and stuff.  Honestly I find it

You know, I thought for sure when Tesla first announced their big gigafactory that the long-term play for Tesla was to supply battery tech to 3rd party manufacturers. Tesla would remain as a luxury EV brand but the bulk of their sales potential would be supplying batteries and EV tech to the likes of Ford, GM, BMW

Nah, EV’s are advancing enough that I think over time more people will switch. But there’s also that pesky fuel cost in ICE cars, while the oil market has stabilized it’s not immune to shocks in supply and big cost swings. Driving an EV is a nice hedge against oil price swings.

All that being said, environmentally and

Good points HOWEVER, let’s not forget that Oil production is also heavily subsidized and it’s also FAR more politicized at this stage. Gasoline Prices are lower than they should be because politically, oil=jobs so politicians are FAR more likely to give clear passage for oil exploration, oil drilling/shale mining,

You might enjoy this video where some guys make an RC Sea Duck and fly around.

No one argues against that point. Sure, the BRZ is more fun to drive in the twisties than a WRX.

But see a sports car lacks practicality. What should you gain? Fun? Yes. But you should also actually be more sporty than a sedan that costs the same.

It’s a travesty I tell you. If you’re going to sacrifice practicality

...and the Miata also suffers in sales. No one that buys these cars worries about power, those are the people who actually buy them. The problem is a growing portion of the enthusiast car market DOES care about power and the Miata and BRZ are increasingly passed over for other cars due to their anemic engines.
