Well, I actually think the BRZ twins became more expensive because they decided to develop a bespoke engine vs. just using the existing WRX mill..

Well, maybe a GD Chassis WRX wagon would be worth 6K but those 2011-2014 WRX Hatchbacks famously keep an insane amount of value. More details are needed but if it’s at all below 100K miles and actually in good condition (flood damage can be fixed) then yeah, that’s not too far off KBB in much of the country.
Why not just make a great movie with girls as the stars? “All girl spinoff movies” to me, come across about as much of an ignorant promo for girl power as the email I got from my daughters co-ed basketball league listing all the reasons why it’s great that they are creating an all girls sub-league such as:
Carbon emissions, by far, are the biggest threat to the globe’s climate stability. Mining pollution and landfill pollution are localized issues compared to the global effects of CO2. They are sill problems but they don’t have the long lasting implications of out of control global warming pose against our planet.
It’s…
In all seriousness, Subaru should actually re-badge the Suzuki Samurai as a more focused off-road small SUV...or Jeep for that matter.
On a naturally aspirated Subaru pre 2008 yes, you’d need head gaskets. A Turbo Subaru though could completely dodge head-gasket issues with proper maintenance. Keep fresh coolant in and make sure your engine grounds don’t rust off the block and maybe upgrade the radiator to keep heat spikes down and you could be fine…
It’s funny, not only does the F-35 have an innacurate gun, but the new AH-64E helicopter has a terrible gun as well. It’s the same gun the AH-64 has used since day one, but the computer on the new E model has been upgraded and apparently they never re-tuned the aiming system for the faster processor and pilots can’t…
The Miata 100% was designed and intended to bring fun, small sports cars TO THE MASSES by being affordable. Yet it’s a low volume car...yes all sorts of things that are overpriced also stay rather low-volume.
I’ll bite, A used Miata is a great deal just as is a Used 996 or 997 Porsche 911 but brand new, both are terribly overpriced and I could never ever ever buy them new off the lot. If I had a 26k budget for a new sports car, I’d buy a WRX and If I had 100K....sheesh, there’s like 20 cars I’d buy before a 911.
Well, it is acient because the interior is absolutely a decade past it’s prime. I’ve never understood why you couldn’t hop into CAD and design a new modern interior around an existing car. Most of it’s plastic anyway. Sports cars need a longer shelf life without having to be completely re-engineered. Porsche…
Logic would serve that an overpriced car would always remain ‘low volume’.
For real, those old Toyotas still look amazing. Frankly I thought for years that it would have been Subaru to re-tackle the small truck market since Toyota kinda turned it’s back. A stretched out forester version of this below or something probably would have become a quick classic modern “Brat” that people actually…
Harley, you’re missing the golden goose. https://www.sema.org/sema-news/2019/07/upward-trend-in-powersports
Okay, so the most often I see a Harley badge on the road is on the side of a FOrd F-150. Go out into the mountains of NC and I’ll see a Harley edition F-150 with a trailer hauling a couple Yamaha ATV’s or Honda UTV’s in it ALL.DAY.LONG.
Motorcycle sales are declining, but I believe powersport sales are increasing. The Side-by-side/UTV market in particular has exploded. Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris etc. all make those types of vehicles with great success. To me, the biggest mistake Harley has made is not understanding their buyers. As they’ve…

Always best to launch a test rocket to prove the ability to abort if there were any problems in conditions where there won’t be any problems, I say.
Art needs to connect with an audience in a deliberate manner, be novel and involve some sort of deliberate creative process. At least to me.
