On a naturally aspirated Subaru pre 2008 yes, you’d need head gaskets. The Miata 100% was designed and intended to bring fun, small sports cars TO THE MASSES by being affordable. Yet it’s a low volume car...yes all sorts of things that are overpriced also stay rather low-volume. 

I’ll bite, A used Miata is a great deal just as is a Used 996 or 997 Porsche 911 but brand new, both are terribly overpriced and I could never ever ever buy them new off the lot. Okay, so the most often I see a Harley badge on the road is on the side of a FOrd F-150. Go out into the mountains of NC and I’ll see a Harley edition F-150 with a trailer hauling a couple Yamaha ATV’s or Honda UTV’s in it ALL.DAY.LONG.
