I mean, it is a problem that should be fixed but I wouldn't call it 'game ruining'. At best you get 3 or 4 kills before you have to move on unless you get crazy lucky and are in the dead center of the final circle.
I do have to wonder why CVT transmissions were banned. Williams went to the trouble of developing it with Renault and they probably would have walked away with the championship if it raced in anger but I feel like CVT transmissions for road cars would be half as miserable if they would've been developed more…
