I bought the PC version, but I completely understand your sentiment.

I have often though about how that would be a useful feature to have. I would most certainly use it.

In my experience, those two words are most certainly not equally offensive.

First, I will reiterate that to me it's not a bad word. And in most contexts that I have heard it used, it has not been negative.

I knew this comment would attract misguided responses/trolls, but the truth is that gringo is not exclusively a derogatory term. I grew up in an area with a large Hispanic population, I being in the minority, and only on few occasions felt like the word was said with hate.
Even if it was as you seem to believe…

I have a gamertag that includes the word "gringo," which is a Spanish word often used to describe an "American," or English speaking white person. I've reused it on multiple services, and am regularly the target of racist comments by people who mistakenly think I am Hispanic/Latino/etc.
