I would say that qualifies as a New Media Strategy.

If I had to sell life insurance it would kill me.

$4/gal? Hey, maybe that means people will drive more slowly.

Public figure.

The liftback?! Never knew there was one. I betray my East Coast roots, but if one of those still exists it should be sent back to Toyota for its museum. I do like the old Corolla two-door Liftback.

Most definitely bi-winning. Well, actually, Alfa never did have much luck with their dual-engine. Neither did Bugatti. Maserati won a race or two with the V4. They did better I think because Alfieri bothered enough to tie both I-8s together at the crank.

Yes, I have heard of that one! Part of the big multi-V8 craze in drag-racing. I think the hairiest one of all was a quad-Olds behemoth.

Cool, thanks. Didn't know about that one.

Excellent point! VW's marketing acumen has often been the envy of the industry.

Interesting that Chrysler isn't bothering with new door/panel stampings now.

I like it! The back seat was useless anyway.

Did Alfa make a Bi-motore in 1931? I know Bugatti and Maserati both made dual-engine race cars around this time, but I thought there was only one 8C Bi-Motore.

Mitsu reminds me of VW in the U.S. in 1993... except VW's U.S. business was in worse shape. They had been brutalized by Consumer Reports, nearly all of their cars were 10 year-old designs (the Cabrio was a Mk I!), Audi was reeling from the accelerator fiasco, and the Westmoreland assembly plant was a miserable

An Alfa coupe with a Hemi V8 would be flat-out strange... in fact, any engine larger than 3-liters would be decidedly un-Alfa. Small displacement is typically the Alfa way.

Well, it was a thought.... I haven't driven either engine yet, and no doubt all that off-road gear is bad for mileage no matter what. I was going to suggest a diesel, but that doesn't match the character of the truck either.

I kind of like it. The Juke I mean. It's the closet thing to an actual French car we're likely to get for a while. It has a certain joie de vivre, even if it is of the bumpin' uglies variety. The Rogue, on the other hand, strikes me as a tiresome turd that foists onto us a CVT nobody wants and a hefty price tag for

I got excited for a minute then realized MG made Magnettes in the '50s, too. The pre-war Magnettes are quite valuable.

Pretty weird, huh? There's a defunct body shop in downtown Newark that has a rusty pink Isetta out front. Almost as implausible.

well said.
