I agree. They've got a good head start in practical EVs and should be a factor in the U.S. if battery technology ever improves. Sure, they sell only a few thousand cars in the U.S., but they make more than a million vehicles each year and ship them to Thailand, Indonesia, Phillipines, Malaysia, Australia, etc., etc.
