The first movie had shit marketing and didn’t even try for nostalgia factor. On one hand, they probably made a wise decision NOT to go nostalgia trip, otoh...it hurt them in the long run by keeping what they did do to an extreme minimum with voice actor cameos on screen. oh, and the Mach 6 no one asked for.
