Yeah, mom felt “out of sorts” for a while, which she chalked up to having to watch her blood sugar (her mother and sister were diabetic). When she finally got sick, “mercy” hospitals told her she had the flu and sent her home after a panel of basic tests.

They thought mom’s cancer was “the flu”. Four weeks from the time she felt sick to the time she died.
