What killed it for me was the upgrade that demanded you have the most recent phone/tablet/device to play. I had bought a couple ipads when I got my Big Check from Disability, so not only was I tethered to wifi hotspots (of which I had to travel 25+ miles to find a pokestop!), these tablets were less than two years old…
