I've found that it's easier to get some distance from the ground and try your maneuvers. You might crash a few times. But once your up there, it's alot easier to correct before you hit the ground. Also, if you know you are about to land the hard way, shut the power down. I've done the mistake of gassing it right

That looks like a remodel job that I've seen before.

I started with milk crates and upgraded to PC towers (picked up a pallet of them from an auction). I should have taken photos. They work great at holding beer caps and miscellaneous items you dont want to travel to the trash can for.
