I’ve been learning an important lesson in understanding what hills are good hills to attempt to die on. This one is not ... at least for me.

You’re just now uneasy about that opening cut scene gun part? Wasn’t that clip out ages ago? Isn’t the whole point of the game to be based in a quasi-realistic world to our own? Did you not play the first one? I feel like this “article” was a poor attempt of trying to this game is secretly funded by the NRA because…
Why is Massive’s statement about The Division not being political such a sticking point with the Kotaku staff? It’s almost impossible to find an article about the game that doesn’t make a dig at this. I don’t understand the criticism, if not thinly veiled hostility, Kotaku holds for Massive.
I mean, if the US does go into hell and a handbasket, then yea, you’re gonna want a gun to protect yourself. I doubt this country will ever get as bad as shown in these games (certainly not in our lifetimes, no matter what Trump does), but if there’s no police or other kind of law enforcement around, then yea, you’re…
If you don’t travel enough to rack up (and fully enjoy) hotel status, hotel-branded credit cards don’t usually make…
Honestly, how dense can a person be?
Yes. I ordinarily try not to judge people. My non-judgmental answer is that he needs to be hard and honest on himself and what he wants, because he’s going to hurt somebody no matter what choice he makes, and it’s all on him.
“my marriage isn’t really failing” It’s already failed — YOU’RE CHEATING ON YOUR WIFE.
“I don’t want to hurt anyone,” says the guy that already cheated on his wife, and helped someone else in an already failing marriage do further damage to their own spouse.
Third person is a piece of shit who wants the risk of an affair but the safety that if it falls apart with the affair they have the marriage to fall back on.
Hyper-fuel is similar to midichlorians, in that it overexplains somethingthat we’ve always just accepted we don’t need to know how it works dammit.
I just don’t get the “brutally assault” angle. It’s clear to anyone who watched the video that wasn’t the case. It’s also clear the dude is a scumbag, but come on.
I quickly read about this and watched the video even if I give no f’s about this guy and never heard of him. I’m just curious about how easy it is for a famous man to lose his career.
So this guy, asked a drunk chick who lied about her age to leave his entourage, yet she insisted on getting into his hotel room with his…
Chill out man.
Being a male-feminist, white knight cuck isn’t going to get you laid. Have you decided when you’re going to rape and kill your first female victim though? Or has that passed already?
Thanks for reading. I actually heard about the story yesterday when I was listening to NPR while getting ready for work. I listen to NPR basically every weekday and donate to WNYC. They’ve actually interviewed me a few times about my work, too. I’m not out to get NPR.
This is an odd criticism for this game considering nearly every open world does this, and frankly RDR2 does it better than just about anyone else.
These tweets are not alarming...they’re benign and typical of what I’d say is more than likely not a malicious and awful (even unknowingly) person or corporate persona. I truly believe this is a non-issue and that it’s impossible to be some kind of perfect social historian and know what we can and cannot say.
You do understand the people running this account are not the same people making the game, right?
Are you fucking serious?
