since I started watching the show live, so far ive been 3/4 in terms of regular seasons in growing attached to the winner (jinkx, bianca, and bob, with katya being the outlier). lets see how this fares with nina

I'd put Valentina up there (with Nina as a possible "project" for Ru that could go on to be continued into a season of All Stars, a la Katya).

Yeah. I mean, I think Nina could have the goods, and Shea probably won't suck. I'm mostly worried for Farrah and Sasha though.

I don't know if I agree on all of this. I think she's (intentionally) funnier than a majority of the other pageant queens we've seen, and I think that also allows her to have more fun with her looks. I'm not saying she's got the crown on lock, but I can see a top 3 with her in it

Nina's still the better drag race contestant though. She has a win and some high placements under her belt (and I see her doing well in the roast challenge), while Aja hasn't brought much in regards to the competition. And Nina won fair and square in the lip sync

It's more of a recent trend, but it's something to look out for as a possibility. Max, Thorgy, Acid, DeLa…could she be next? Find out next week on "RuPauls Drag Race" :P

I hope the roast sends her packing, though I have more than a sneaking suspicion that the roast will result in a "surprise elimination" of a perceived frontrunner (since we haven;t had that elimination yet this season)

Aja was put in the bottom partially because she hasn't really made any outstanding contributions to the competition, and at this point, you need to start building up a resume. Nina and Sasha have wins to their names, and were both high last week. the only thing Aja gave is her Linda Evangelista Untucked speech

i can see where you're coming from, but i think they won all of the lip syncs they were faced with fair and sqaure (theres a reason Coco is considered one of the greatest lip syncers on the show EVER).
back then though you couldnt have gotten coco off my screen fast enough lol

I can;t say they overstayed their welcome because i really do think they earned their spots in the top (and there is a reason both were asked back for AS2). And yeah, I feel like Coco is also one of those queens who knew to embrace the edit the show gave her (given all her dorito jokes)

but thank god she was on. oh yeah, plus it had Ongina's HIV reveal, which is still a high water mark of the series in terms of it addressing real issues with pathos
