I'm glad that they moved the story into a new era, but I am baffled as to why they are choosing for 30 years to pass in a single title when around the same time passed over the course of the last 3 titles combined (at least I think so according to the last one I played). It's confusing and awkward.

I don't need to justify anything. I loved every single second of those 120 hours. I can understand the sluggish controls bit, though, as I felt the same way... before I tweaked the controller sensitivity to a level that allowed for some of the quickest and most responsive FPS gameplay I've ever encountered.

It's humorous to me that 10 years ago when the game was released you could log into the Dreamcast Network and download images off the internet and import them into your game as customized tags. 10 years later and consoles don't allow for such features to exist.
