@Zim: The maps released as "free DLC" were actually on the disc, but locked out. In this case, if you had to buy the online pass thing you'd be paying for something on the disc.

@Zim: Bad Company 2.

@Alex Kramer: The MW1 maps from MW2 were not remakes. They were the exact same as they had been before.

This is pretty shitty considering not all of them support all game types. If you never play modes like Big Team Battle or Invasion, you're actually only getting 2 maps. Hell, if you only play those types you still only get 2.

As someone who made the mistake of not picking up Dead Space until earlier this year, I'm going to ensure I don't make the same mistake twice. This game is at the top of my must-have list, alongside Brink, Arkham Asylum 2, and Rage.

FUCK. YES.

That's funny, because no one ever wanted sub-par games on shelves, period, let alone Sonic titles.

Well, my expectations for this title have been put in check. So much for the choices of Dragon Age married with the action of Mass Effect with the character customization of Fallout/Oblivion.

Holy shit. If they can offer an action RPG with the scale of Dragon Age, the intense gameplay and storyline of Mass Effect, all with full character customization... shit. Day one purchase right there.

I don't have a spec system, either, but I'm smart enough to see that it's more powerful than an iPhone. What an idiot.

@Cellsong: I agree. I went to high school with his nephew. He always seemed to be a real nice guy.

Any word on whether this went live with the launch of Clap Trap Revolution or if it has yet to happen?

This just sold me on Black Ops. I am a complete whore for customization. I am glad to see it come to the CoD series.

@Nezu: One character out of dozens who was creepy and a little aloof does not detract from the overall tone, though. For the most part, the story was pretty realistic tone-wise. This is clearly throwing that out the window and while I was originally worried about that fact, this trailer assuaged my fears.

I was not interested in this content at all, seeing as how I didn't feel comfortable with the undead playing a part in Red Dead's straightforward and realistic tone.

Once again, the Kotaku media player takes a video and slows it to a stuttering crawl making the presentation more like a slide show than a video.... sigh.

@Veit: Uh, you know that widescreen IS the natural presentation, right? Your eyes view the world in widescreen.

If SSIV, StarFox, Kid Icarus, and RE are available at launch, I will not be able to contain myself. It will simply not be possible.

@FabAndroid: I saw it at Target the other day for $30 and considered buying it, but remembered it required Motion+ to play. I was sad. I was made more sad when the Target didn't have any Motion+ peripherals. Shame; the game looks real fun and I could use a good FPS game for Wii.
