It was the 1990s. Even the cartoon characters with swords didn't stab people.

Actually sounds like you got rickrolled to shit, my son
Nah, this episode was definitely there to make out-of-touch folks like yourself feel smug in the exact way you're feeling. It was pretty bad, but I guess it worked on you.
There’s a less-than-YOLO story behind many of the selfies Anja uploads
"The Cutting Room Floor" is one of my favorite sites not just for its content, but for the idiosyncratically poor quality of its writing and editing.
The original intro for the first film is a showcase for the brilliant sound design there, and in that context, the roar still sends chills up my spine.
Hey, I'll agree on this much: Edwards wanted to remake Godzilla vs. Mothra much more than he wanted to remake the 1954 movie, but he forgot that the former gave the big guy almost twice as much screen time as the latter by the nature of its different goals (and era).
I enjoy the implication that you prefer to masturbate in a theater.
I applaud the clickbait attempt, but there's not even a hint of Batman in this movie.
Agreed - the error Edwards made was including monsters other than Godzilla in his Godzilla movie, which has never once resulted in a good movie.
Not to mention that viewing the statement "portraying Christine Chubbuck's suicide tactfully is a hard job for an actor" as an opportunity to heckle the person writing it falls somewhere between "suspect" and "vile".
Comparing a tragic suicide by a mentally ill woman to the crimes of Richard Nixon is probably a terrible way to make the point you're trying to make, as it makes you appear sadistic and socially inept
Every now and then someone makes a TV adaptation nowadays from source material that seems genuinely appropriate for a serial television format and it astounds me.
There's a good reason the U.S. government lets its proxies push out footage from Syria rather than doing it itself: because the prescription of the U.S. government for the situation has been to perpetuate and instigate even greater violence.
How is that anything but further evidence for what you're trying to argue against?
Cavett is one of a great many celebrities known for scrupulously archiving their appearances on their own dime. Because of the dearth of high-level support for public funding for records and archives in the United States outside of the secret archives of intelligence agencies (because public archives' contents can…
As someone who's seen practically every Godzilla movie ever made, I'm heavily skeptical that Toho didn't push out another turkey, since that's usually how it's turned out for them - even though the 1954 movie is by far the best and really the only one worth watching to date if you don't have a perverse interest in…
Let's be fair, though. While neither of the American movies are very good, many of the Toho movies across their entire history end up well below either American version in quality. The 1998 American "Godzilla" could be placed somewhere in the lower end of the upper half of Godzilla movies overall, while the 2014…
