I'm going to repost something I posted to FB a few days ago, please don't crucify me for that:

I've always been a big fan of Rollins, but as someone that suffers from severe depression, this hurts.

I feel so old. This is wholly unappealing to me on just about every level.

You seem pretty terrible. You should get help for that.

I think they could have easily picked up a few recruits after "liberating" Ba Sing Se.

Careful, this could be some Disqus comment Death Note kinda thing going on.

I've dealt with depression for the better part of my adult life, honestly for as long as I can remember at this point. Sometimes it's just kind of a low-grade thrum at the back of my mind, and I can function pretty well. Other times, it's completely overwhelming, to the point where I feel like I'm drowning.

Nah. Captain Marvel, Spider-Woman, the new Ms. Marvel, Black Widow, Valkyrie, Photon, there's a bunch that aren't Storm.

Because they're heroic? This seems like a truly bizarre complaint to me.

…per PACK?

Definitely "Dangerous Habits" is a pretty great jumping on point. Ennis didn't really use much previous history (at least nothing that couldn't be brought up to speed in a few pages) and focused on a primarily new cast of supporting characters, with a few exceptions.

To quote my friend: "With those dumb giant hockey jerseys he wears, he looks like a guy cosplaying as an off-brand, unwrapped ice cream bar."

Why can't Kevin Smith dress like an adult, instead of a used sports bar napkin?

Batman, no question.

Man, I loved Iron Man 3, personally.

I'm not saying it's revolutionary, but I do think Marvel has done something that, say, DC hasn't, which is to kind of diversify their superhero portfolio. Thor's got the fantasy elements, Iron Man has the high tech industrial espionage thing going. Cap has the spy thriller aspects to it. Guardians looks like it's

Which is honestly kind of an insane leap for a superhero movie to take.

I really wanna talk about just HOW GOOD J. K. Simmons is as Tenzin. He really disappears completely into the role.

"We've seen nothing to suggest this" is a weird thing to say. What we've seen is that Zaheer is clearly well versed in Air Nomad culture, with his frequent references to the Guru, starting from his first appearance. We don't need Tenzin to say "AND YES HE WAS WELL VERSED IN AIR NOMAD CULTURE, KORRA!" to infer that

Well, I can see dygitalninja's point. I have my theory, and yes I started this thread with "he's GOT to be" but there are other explanations as to how he could be so versed in Air Nomad culture. I feel like the most logical explanation is that he's a former Acolyte, but that doesn't preclude other explanations either.
