This is a good take. I see the parallels. Child actor minus any sort of stabilization (even a stage mom) and ultimate freedom.

It may be an inability to separate the persona from reality that keeps this trend going. Also

I played all day and used countless incense and I caught 3 shinny. THREE! And one of those was the guaranteed event Ditto. I had fun but was really thinking I was going to be get more Gen 1 shinnies to round out my collection.  I hope the makeup event increases or fixes the shinny spawn rate.

That last battle was super cringey

I think I strained my eyes at how hard I rolled them with the interactions between Miles and Tinkerer. I have a hard time on BFF to Enemy stories in general. I can’t rationalize why someone that means so much to you can turn into a mortal enemy with such a paper thin reason.
