VW MKV GTI’s have this issue.....My 2007 headliner is currently sagging. Pic to follow shortly....

Dump the XJ...They are a dime a dozen and swiss cheese has served it’s time well.

CP - You either pay now or pay later when buying a used Porsche....In this case, you’re going to pay later.

OK - I can read facts too, but how is it to drive every day? Does it still drive like an SUV down the road politely or does it have limited capability for daily driving....

How would it be to live with every day?

I think you missed a few points:

All things considered, it is actually a minor problem....I think the engineers shrugged their shoulders and said good enough...

That’s an S10/Sonoma thing! Even the GM blades didn’t get that corner of the windshield when new

I do not, I was just being snarky.

That kid in the red shirt climbing to the top of the podium...

As a former resident of NYS north of NYC, this needs more recommendations...Like way more.

I had a 1981 Subaru DL for my first car when I was 16....This was an epic vehicle and still to this day the most reliable I have ever owned.

Agreed...I am all for agressive racing for position, whether it’s fighting for 1st in the main or the final transfer spot in the LCQ you need to make it happen...But fighting for another position in a heat race when you’re both already in transfer spots? No need to ride like a jackass.

FYI - Friese’s mechanic was the one who shoved Anderson after the helmet smack. Watch the video again.

It’s clearly from a projector....

The ladder idea is genus, I always used bucket and a floor jack to hold the door. Just the right height.

All typical S10 problems. I had one with the same exact issues, radiator wasn’t the trucks fault as I was young and installed a “cold” air intake with a huge filter that rubbed the radiator. Had the same result with the tail light and door bushings. I’ve owned too many S10's to count and got the door bushings down to

I grew up in a neighborhood that was rapidly developed with mcmansions in the early 2000's following 9/11., families wanted to get out of NYC and into the more rural, slightly upstate Hudson Valley, NY. By the time I was of driving age, the school parking lot was littered with BMW’s M3's, Subaru STI’s and turbo’d

Snap-On Parrot-Jaw pliers. Try them just once and you’ll see why they are referred to as “Magic Pliers” by those who own them. Don’t get an off-brand, spend the money on Snap-On and you’ll see why. They work on almost everything, even when vice-grips etc won’t.

Thanks for the opportunity, I had a blast meeting the people who contribute to my slacking off at work. Till next time!
