If we must remake a John Candy movie, I would've gone with Summer Rental.

I sorta agree. Its become a show that repeats the same beats over and over. It does so in a lived in, quasi-realistic way, but the wheel spinning is getting ridiculous. Feels like its been ages since a killer set-piece. And the Paige stuff is fully ridiculous. She's not Russian and she's not a spy. Please stop…
Karen Allen?
No it didn't.
This from the guy who calls a little girl "it".
"Perfect Strangers" was my favorite show when I was 8 years old so there's no way this wouldn't be the best thing ever, but it earned it by being a Nora episode and having the amazing Wu Tang trampoline scene, and MLB just ruled. But I most liked the Australian weatherman making weatherman jokes about the apocalyptic…
Yikes. Thats wildly unfair and you know it.
Its like not even a plot point. Tommy so mean for putting a baby in Nora's general area? The baby went to his family because in times of urgency you rely on family, even it might make dad's new girlfriend sad.
So after escaping a cult who brain-washed him, rescuing an abused member of the cult and her baby, and returning home to a family and town gone insane, you're willing to write off a character because he didn't consider his daddy's girlfriend in all that. Think about how bad you're on Nora's jock for a second.
Its nice that they showed us a hot dog that looks like someone took a major dook on and still found the time to be totally scandalized by ketchup. Chicago ketchup fascists are the biggest snooze on the planet.
I never gave a shit about Gabriel so this was a little underwhelming. People are acting like he was some cuddly grandpa. He was an aging spy going through the motions, pulled off a profoundly shitty move toward Philip and his son he can't even admit, and from afar manipulated our main characters to kill another…
Best evidence yet IMDB is insane.
You still might be on to something though.
Well it was the GR. I'd bomb those motherfuckers too.
I feel like John Oliver and especially Samantha Bee just regurgitate the prevailing opinion of the internet, and don't add anything to it. It sounds like this will challenge the echo chamber and not contribute to it. Hopefully.
You're embarrassing yourself.
This is a Boston station. You know republican candidates won't win in MA ever, right? You're a human embarrassment.
As amazing as this show is, they did just take a drone strike to an entire plot line.
"No man, Evie did it before, maybe she did it again!"
Alexandra Schepisi as "The Woman".
