That was my reaction. I haven't listened to it in 15 years and just accepted it as a great album w/o much thought. Its front loaded with hits, but once it finally gets weird, it really becomes something great. The drums sound fantastic too.

This writer's experience with April Fool's is really odd. No one gets tripped or made to eat hair in honor of April Fool's. That's not an April fool, you're just getting bullied. April Fool's is about making people believe an elaborate lie.

I think this will end up being something we asked for but don't end up liking. In Rio the live events often aired alongside edited events in prime-time, and the live events were a major snooze. Gymnasts milling around while the announcers killed time. I'll take the edited package all day.
