But doesn't the Earth have to get warmer to melt the ice at the poles that raises the sea levels? Where else would the water be coming from?

Well lets start with the number one reason MONEY. Dubai has money to burn they're sitting on huge oil reserves. I'm betting these little islands of Kiribati don't have that kind of cash to constantly raise their islands.

I hear the jury is still out on 'science'

Christina Hendricks needs a reality show. I don't care if she just sits at home and watches TV, I would watch her watch TV.

When I click the "Which looks pretty sweet" link it launches my outlook... whats that about?

You didn't even get to the best part, that tablet docks nicely into an all in one computer and the mouse doubles as a phone!

Is there a rift between Verizon and HTC? I feel like Verizon always gets screwed when it comes to phones. I don't want a crippled Razr or Droid something. I've been waiting on these HTC phones forever and now I find out neither are coming to verizon first.

I've gotten it several times too.. I don't know if I'm immune but I sure hope I never get it again, highly unpleasant.

I only need to reference Conan to end this debate.

My understanding is that as long as you are standing on public property you can take a picture of anything in public view. I understand they're just trying to do their job but a guy with a camera shouldn't be high on the list of things they need to worry about.

I've been hassled by security guards when taking pictures around cities. If you have a dslr in your hand suddenly you're a terrorist. I keep a print out of the photographers rights in my bag now in case I get involved with someone with actual power like a police officer. What really cracks me up though is that Google

I think you mean Montego Bay.

It seems like a lot of the commenters have better ideas than NASA for how to solve the problem. Its a shame all of the worlds smartest people are busy commenting on the internet. Guess I'll get back to being a rocket scientist.

Curse my love of sexy puzzles!

I think this is interesting. I'm sure what everyone will comment about though is how people are basically a-holes and will swap out whatever is in there for a gum wrapper. However, I think if these were installed in small public places people would be less inclined to take advantage for fear of being shamed by others.

Its sounds like this thing is just supposed to start a conversation and get people thinking and not be a new business, hence art project (like you said). In regards to getting people to think obviously its working as you took the time to think about an alternative and type out a response.

Damn kids and their language on the internets.

A smart cable eh? That cable would cost 70 dollars at minimum. I dropped 70 bucks in lame display port converters for my MBP.

Someone at my university sent out an email to every student on campus, about 40,000 people, which then prompted a flurry of 'reply alls' in which people kept saying "stop replying your sending this to everyone!!!" It took the better part of the day for the IT staff to shut it down.

Its like a real life super boring version of Tron. I got in man, I got in.
