I just participated in Filmstruck's beta test. Even with just the few dozen selections they had streaming for testing purposes, the service was a goldmine. They were still having some technical issues with window boxed SD video, and the promised streaming extras hadn't materialized the last time I logged on, but the

Also, Rhaegar was totally dead at this point. Killed by Robert on the Trident.

I loved that. I thought for a moment we were getting a look at BT-1. But it wasn't quite the same droid. And I'm sure BT-1 would have made quick work of Chopper.

It's pretty widely accepted that the Rebel victory at Endor likely rendered the forest moon uninhabitable when Death Star II debris impacted the moon's surface, and may have effectively driven the Ewoks to extinction.

It's how he is written. People have been saying that about Book Quentin, too, since "The Magicians" was published.

By Brian Vaughan and Marcos Martin. It's excellent, I agree. And humorously ironic that it was published as a web-only exclusive.

A reprint for the most part, but the first few chapters were re-drawn/re-colored to match the style of the later chapters, and a new epilogue was added. A worthy purchase, as it was reasonably priced and David Mitchell's new book has me convinced the internet won't exist in 30 years.

Oh, please let Stevenson's excellent, newly published graphic novel "Nimona" be next.

Nimona, Yes! A million times, yes! Of course, I would cast Bananapants Cumber-bun as Ser Ballister.

Before I read the combined AFFC/ADWD, I re-read A Storm of Swords. Unless they drastically restructure the narrative, I can definitely see narrative elements of the latter two books begin to unfold as soon as the mid-way point of season 4.

I read a combined version of AFFC and ADWD, which goes along way to uniting the thematic as well as the narrative threads in both books. But they are over-written to an unseemly degree. I keep thinking he has to finish "Winds of Winter" by 2016 or else the TV show will catch up to the books, plot wise.

"So enjoy the third season, when Jessica Lange probably plays the fortune
teller in a traveling freak show that's being terrorized by a creepy
doll, a chainsaw-wielding clown, and Cthulhu."

All that to say, I'd rate this record firmly in B+/A- territory.

I'm apparently a decade behind the times, but "Landing on a Hundred" is the first bit of Mr. ChesnuTT's music I've had the pleasure to hear, and I've found it absolutely thrilling. I love the pastiche of retro-r&b/soul, gospel, and rock, so much so that I backed up and picked up a copy of "The Headphone Masterpiece."
